DD243 Explained

DD243; 6.4.4 In this configuration, the entrytimer starts as the entry door is opened, and the system is then unset from a keypad within the premises. On the face of it, this seems the simplest method to use, but there is a major drawback. Remember that in all cases when entry time starts, Police signalling is inhibited, so an intruder forcing entry through the front door will start the timer, and automatically prevent the Police signal from being transmitted.

DD243; 6.4.5 This is a variation of 6.4.4 In this configuration, Police signalling is possible after starting entry time provided the system can only be set and unset using proximity tags, not PIN numbers, and only after expiry of entry time AND after triggering an additional sensor that is not on the entry route.
